Minnesota State Law Library Collection

The Minnesota State Law Library (http://www.lawlibrary.state.mn.us/) is the official depository for Minnesota appellate briefs. They are also the publisher of the microfiche collection of Minnesota briefs. The State Law Library's collection of records and briefs is the most complete and current collection available. Minnesota Appellate Court Rules Concerning Briefs

Rules 128 - 132 of the Minnesota Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure cover appellate court briefs. These rules are available on the web at the Minnesota State Court System's web site. These rules are also available in hard copy in volume 51 of the Minnesota Statutes Annotated set (call no. KFM 5430 1946 .A315). For additional assistance, consult Appellate Rules Annotated by Magnuson and Herr (volume 3 of the Minnesota Practice Series), available on reserve and in the Reference Office, call no. KFM 5480 .M53 v.3.
