The Law School Archives is located in the Riesenfeld Rare Books Research
Center. The Archives includes all books written by Law School faculty;
publications of the Law School; publications of the Law School centers and
institutes; DVDs of Law School lectures and events; Law School photographs prior
to 2003.
The University of Minnesota Archives, located in Elmer L. Andersen Library,
includes significant collections related to the history of the Law School. The
University of Minnesota Archives includes Law School papers from 1889-1980. It
also includes the papers of Dean Everett Fraser, Dean William B. Lockhart, Dean
Carl A. Auerbach, and Dean Robert A. Stein. Consult the University of Minnesota

Researchers interested in photographs of students may wish to consult the
Gopher, the yearbook of the University of Minnesota, published from
1888-1965. The Gopher is held at Wilson Library and the University of
Minnesota Archives. The Zoo-book, printed from 1964 to the present,
contains pictures of each Law School class; it is held in Law School Archives.
