First Day Assignment:

The texts for this course are J. Kaplan, R. Weisberg, & G. Binder, Criminal Law: Cases and Materials (5th ed. 2004), and P. Robinson, Criminal Law Case Studies (2d ed.). I also highly recommend that you purchase Joshua Dressler, Understanding Criminal Law (3d ed. 2001) as a supplemental reader for the class.

For the first day, please read pages 1-20, 25-36, and 971-74 of the Kaplan casebook.
